This puppy/dog is a purebred English Labrador Retriever.

Puppy/Dog is being sold as a pet only. If Buyer wants papers, Breeder/Seller will hold the registration papers until written proof of spay/neuter is provided by the Veterinarian by the required age and then Breeder/Seller shall mail AKC registration papers. If Buyer has not tenet emailed or mailed spay/neuter certificate by the required age and is found breeding this dog, Big Timber Labradors has the right to re-possess this dog and any offspring. Required age of spay/neuter is by eight months. Breeder will send AKC registration papers by the age of nine months. Please email spay/neuter certificate from vet to: micahb1973@gmail.com.

1 - Include puppy's birthdate on this contract.

2 - Include your name and number on this contract.

Buyer is required to have a licensed vet administer two more parvo/distemper vaccines to puppy. Parvo/distemper vaccines must be given at two-three week intervals following first vaccine given by Breeder. Do Not put puppy on public ground until third parvo/distemper shot has been given to puppy. Buyer shall maintain the puppy in good condition, including adherence to a regular immunization schedule, heart-worm prevention, good diet, and a clean, safe environment.

Breeder/Seller guarantees for three days from when the Purchaser takes possession of this puppy/dog to be in good health. Buyer agrees that during the three day time period, to have said puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian. Should Buyer fail to have this puppy/dog checked by a licensed veterinarian within the three day time frame, this health guarantee is void. This guarantee expires three days after the Buyer takes possession of the puppy/dog.

Breeder/Seller is NOT responsible for ANY veterinary bills or any costs for the care of said puppy/dog after the dog has been purchased. If said puppy/dog is found in poor health, upon a written statement from a licensed veterinarian, Buyer will have two options:

1 -  To keep the said puppy/dog assuming all costs for its care;

2 - Return said puppy/dog and pick a puppy out of the next litter, of equal or less value only upon the Breeders/Sellers receipt of the veterinarian's written statement regarding proof of the health of said puppy/dog within the said time period. The time period is three days from the time the Purchaser receives said puppy/dog in their possession.

           Genetic Health Guarantee:

Breeder/Seller guarantees said puppy/dog up to twelve months of age (twelve months from birth date of said puppy/dog) from terminal genetic health defects which will take the puppy's life. Buyer must feed the Life's Abundance food and vitamins until the puppy is one year old. If Buyer chooses not to, this health guarantee is void. Keep receipts.

Breeder/Seller agrees to replace said puppy/dog with a puppy/dog of equal or less value within twelve months time frame (this twelve month time frame is to give Breeder/Seller adequate time for new litters to arrive). A written  and signed statement is to be obtained from two licensed veterinarians from two different clinics as proof of the genetic defect(s).

Buyer may then do one of the following:

1 - Buyer may keep the puppy/dog with a refund of half of the purchase price of said puppy/dog.

2 - Return said puppy/dog to Breeder/Seller at the Buyers expense, for a replacement puppy/dog of equal value of the Breeder/Sellers discretion. Breeder/Seller, at this point, reserves the right to have a third opinion on the diagnosis from the veterinarian of Breeder/Sellers choice. At this time, the Buyer will sign all registration papers over to Breeder/Seller.

3 - If said puppy/dog has to be put down due to these defects, a written statement from two licensed veterinarians from two different clinics must be provided to Breeder/Seller stating that it is medically necessary for puppy/dog to be put down due to these defects. Breeder/Seller will replace said puppy/dog within a twelve month time frame from when Breeder/Seller receives documentation from the licensed veterinarian stating that puppy/dog has been put down. This will give Breeder/Seller adequate time for a future litter to arrive in order to replace puppy/dog with a puppy/dog of equal value at Breeder/Sellers discretion. At this time, Buyer will return all registration papers of said puppy/dog to the Breeder/Seller.

Breeder/Seller makes no guarantees regarding the loss of said puppy/dog in the case of accidental death, theft, sickness due to lack of vaccinations; any sickness not related to genetics or any loss beyond the Breeder/Seller's control except as stated above.

This sales contract is non-transferable. Should the Buyer decide to sell said puppy/dog at any time, the Breeder/Seller has the first right to purchase puppy/dog back. Should the Buyer relinquish the ownership of said puppy/dog, this contract shall be deemed null and void.

The Buyer has read and understands the forgoing and agrees that all parts of this contract constitutes a binding agreement with the Breeder/Seller and Buyer.

If either the Breeder/Seller or Buyer takes legal action regarding this contract, said action shall be initiated in the county of the Breeder/Sellers residence.

OUR GIRL
ABOUT US

About Us

Big Timber Labradors began in 2016. Prior to raising this breed in Montana, our family raised Pyrenese in Texas, which were wonderful family and farm companions. The puppies were cared for amidst gardens, chickens, kittens, cows, a fiesty pony and several children. We successfully re-homed puppies spanning from Texas to Alaska. After almost a decade of caring for these dogs and our love for family-friendly canines, we pursued another breed to raise and have as a part of our family's life. The Labrador's handsome appearance, friendly demeanor, eagerness to please and trainability made them our first choice.

Currently, we reside in scenic Montana. Our family gives daily, hands-on care to each animal, with the goal of raising healthy, happy dogs of excellent conformation, are pleasant to live with and possessing qualities of natural hunting companions. Our parent dogs, both champion bloodlines, come from an experienced family kennel who've raised labs for over twenty years and have many dogs being successfully trained for service.
